Listening Statistics
When you press play, we record statistics about that listening session so we can understand how our stations are being listened to. This is separate from the general website analytics described below.
The information recorded for a listening session includes:
- Which station or regional feed you listened to
- When you started listening and for how long
- Your IP address, and the country and approximate city it indicates
- Your device type, browser and operating system
- The page you were on, and the website that referred you (if any)
We set a cookie containing a random identifier so that repeat listening can be recognised — that is, so we can tell a returning listener from a new one. This identifier is random and is not linked to your name, email address or any account. It is stored for up to one year. If your browser blocks cookies, listening is still counted, but repeat visits generally cannot be recognised.
These statistics are shared with NexStream, the streaming platform that delivers our audio, and are used only to report on listenership. They are not used for advertising or profiling, and are not sold to third parties. Records are retained for a limited period and then deleted.

This website uses Umami Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our services. Umami is a privacy-focused analytics platform that does not rely on advertising technologies.
The information collected may include:

- Device type
- Browser information
- Approximate geographic region
- Referring websites
- Visit duration
This information is used solely to improve our website and services. We do not sell visitor information to third parties.
Contact Form Spam Protection
Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from a person rather than an automated script. When the form is displayed, Turnstile is loaded from Cloudflare and may read basic browser and device signals and your IP address to make that check. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use this information to track or profile you across websites, and does not sell it. We use it only to prevent spam and abuse of the contact form. If you would rather not use it, you can contact us directly by email instead.
